We took a family vacation to Island Park this past weekend and stayed in Dave's family cabin. There is nothing better than being in the woods. One of the days we took the kids to Yellowstone. The Bison were out with great force. Miles of traffic waited for them to get out of the middle of the road. There were a couple of them that were not in any hurry to move at all. Here is a Buffalo that walked right next to our car. In fact it was so close, I couldn't get his whole body. My dad asked why I didn't stick my head out the window to get a better picture and to get his face, but it was so close, I was a little scared. I could have touched the thing, if I was more daring, or more dumb.


We also saw some Elk, an Eagle, a Fox, and loads more of Buffalo. We went with my parents, and my brother Jeremy. We had so much fun seeing all the sites of Yellowstone and enjoyed a fun picnic as well. The kids had a blast. None of us wanted to come home, especially my mom, we could barely get her out of this swing to get into the truck. It was the perfect family vacation!!!
